The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is a yearly auto show which is held in Detroit, Michigan at Cobo Center and was first held in Detroit in 1907. It is among the largest auto shows in North America. The show is mainly vital because the Metro Detroit area is the location of the headquarters of the Big Three American automobile makers, Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors. The 2010 show of NAIAS was scheduled from January 11 through January 24. A section called "Electric Avenue" in 2010 show showcased electric vehicles from all around the world, comprising some contestants for the Automotive X-Prize. Top Menu
